The issue is related to Windows not being able to split the DNS requests. Even though the applications are using a non-VPN tunnel for the connection, the DNS requests are still going through the VPN traforo for security reasons.

An easy work around the bug is to just tell chrome to use a particular dns (i use cloudflare) under advanced settings (i had to do this as as when using nord dns some sites did not even load). However option to do Durante app does not seem to be disabled for me just buggy with dns.
